Position is Full Time working at Northwest Medical Center in the Main OR
The Main OR at Northwest Medical Center features 16 surgical suites in a dedicated surgical wing and perform highly specialized cutting edge procedures AND minimally invasive procedures. Several suites are specialized for specific types of surgeries. Join a team of surgical professionals who are performing new cutting edge procedures and taking great care of our patients.
Ability to perform all surgical skills required to assist Surgeon with procedures. Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to perform all surgical skills required to assist Surgeon with procedures. Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
- Required:
For Surgical First Assistant: CSA through NSAA -OR- CFA through NBSTSA -OR- SA-C through ABSA
For RNFA: current Arizona RN license or compact state license
For all First Assists: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS
For OVH RNFA: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) ACLSPreferred: Where not required, American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) ACLS is preferred.
